Do you want to improve your Nordic style playing in folk flutes?? In this course you will become more familiar with the Swedish style of playing flutes, recorders and traditional Swedish flutes.
Härnösands Folkhögskola and Folk Flute Academy jointly offer a distance course in folk flute 2021/22. The course contents is 12 online individual lessons on traditional Swedish flutes like Härjedalspipa, Offerdalspipa and Månmarkapipa. Also recorders or transverse flute. We teach the phrasing, technics and ornaments in Swedish polskas, waltzes etc.
Each semester we have a weekend with guest teachers at Härnösands Folkhögskola. The weekends are also possible to join online.
Teacher is Göran Månsson. Guest teachers: Emma Johansson, Jonas Simonson, Ale Möller in the weekend courses.
